Known for blending food, travel, and cultural exploration, Bourdain became one of the most influential figures in modern gastronomy and media.
Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Bourdain discovered his love of food during a family trip to France. His career took a transformative turn in 2000 with the release of his memoir Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly.
